Step Forward


Installed 3ds Max 2012 and playing with it for three days already :) And I must say I like it! Red somewhere that it is has unfriendly interface. Lies. All looks pretty comfortable for me and the greatest plus is large count of renderers supporting it.



So this is the first picture I made in Max. Here is the original:




You can see some lines on her left collar and on her hip. I just can't understand what missing. All texture's parameters are the same, so why it appears? Still trying to solve this problem.
And sure her skin needs stronger bump to look more realistic.

how i can import models in 3dsmax? it doesnt work that easy as it does in carrara or poser :(

Max is unstable, does't have structure based intarface, and this causes creepy workflow with poser models... =) BTW. U can easy made comixes like u'll can see on many pay sites, but nothing fast and advanced, no UVWs like a TAG object, that can be copied/transferred between many other objects, etc.

What u see there it's un wielded mesh.

Don't know if you need many render engines, imo it's best to concentrate on one, that is the best, v-ray or mental ray for example.
